Important Tax Due Dates

 

Reminder: If the due date falls on a weekend or holiday, the due date is extended to the next business day.

For Individuals               For Businesses

15th of each month: Payroll tax deposit for most employers,
retail surcharge report, Division of Alcohol Beverages and Tobacco.
20th of each month: Sales tax due to Florida Dept. of Revenue
1st QUARTER:
1/15   4th qtr. 1040-ES (personal estimated tax) due to IRS
1/31   W-2's due to employees
           1099's due to independent contractors and landlords
           4th quarter payroll tax reports due to IRS & Florida
2/28 W-2's & W-3, 1099's & 1096 due to IRS
3/15 Corporate income tax return or extension due to IRS & Florida
2nd QUARTER:
4/1 Tangible personal prop. tax return due county tax collector
4/15 Partnership due to IRS.
4/15 Personal Income Tax returns & Trust returns due to IRS. 
1st quarter1040-ES (personal estimated taxes) due to IRS
4/30 1st quarter payroll tax reports due to IRS and Florida
6/15 2nd quarter 1040-ES (personal estimated tax) due to IRS
6/30 Corporate and personal intangible property tax due to Florida
3rd QUARTER:
7/31 2nd quarter payroll tax reports due to IRS & Florida
9/15 3rd quarter 1040-ES (personal estimated tax) due to IRS.
4th QUARTER:
10/31 3rd quarter payroll tax reports due to IRS & Florida
10/15 Final Due Date for 1040, Trust, Corporations and Partnerships.
12/31 Open Keogh retirement plan & other tax planning
